Private Workshops

One Day $650
Two Day$1100

I am pleased to announce my three, new private workshops for photographers who want to explore the stunning, evocative, and diverse landscapes of Puget Sound Region. These locational workshops are offered as one or two days, and with one to three participants. They are easy to get to and readily accessible  by short walks. They are offered from early autumn through the winter.

I am often asked: “how do you find your images when looking at a large scene?” Therein lies the very essence of the ability to see. First, we observe, then we explore, then ask ourselves: “what is it that attracts me to this scene?”

These are some of the essential aspects of landscape photography that we will focus on:

  • Elements of Clear and Compelling Composition For Effective Visual Expression
  • The Dynamics of Exposure
  • Considering The Nature and Quality of Light
  • The Art of Using Color for Creative and Artistic Expression
  • Thinking in Terms of Themes and Storytelling.
  • Conceiving and Executing The Capture and Processing as Creating A Work of Art.

These three workshops and their locations offer a rich and diverse palette of subjects, colors, textures, patterns, and light conditions from which I will help you create stunning images suitable for fine art wall prints for your home, office, gifts, and, of course, to sell.
